Grave Yards
This is a graveyard I visited in 1995 while on a trip to see family. This is (if I recall correctly) a Scandinavian cemetary in Rockford, IL. The statuary fascinates me.

This is just strange. I don't know if it is some sort of tomb, or not. There were no names or markings on the outside. |
It struck me that this looked like a chess board. Have you ever thought a cemetary looked like a chess board? |
