Back in October I spent a couple days in LA visiting my friend Erik, and it's taken me ages to get around to sorting through the pictures and getting them up here. But I finally did it. |

A Frank Lloyd Wright house, the name of which I can't recall. |

Erik driving us around. He did this a lot. |
An airport for model airplanes. How odd. |
This may seem like an odd thing to take a picture of, but I've never been to a Fry's before, and I don't think the one near Seattle is half this cool. |

The Ennis Brown House, in Los Angeles, CA. By Frank Lloyd Wright, sort of. He apparently left before construction even began because he couldn't stand Mrs. Ennis. And they did not entirely follow his instructions. So he designed the place, but then it was built per the whim of the people paying for it. |

Movies get filmed here, and that's how the dogs got a house made of immitation bricks like the big house. |

From the street below the house, you can see how huge the place is, and also the crumbling retaining wall. |
and there are fallen bricks all over the hill. |

Warner Brother's Water Tower. I used to watch Animaniacs a lot, 10 years ago, so this amused me a lot. |

Then we decided to go out to Santa Monica. Which was a little odd on a cloudy day. Gotta love the "demon-eyed" sunset below. And the empty beach. |

I find it funny that I go to LA and it's cloudy and it even rained. |
It took us three tries to find this house. We were driving around the area after dark the night I got there, and then again the next night, and we got really close. But the trick was looking for it during the day. Apparently it used to be lit up at night, but not we were looking for it. It's a very strange house. I like that. Certainly better then one that looks like every other. |
