This is Emma (Emalyth) exploring.

And this is Jessica, her mom.

Following her around,

trying to distract her,

and keep her out of trouble.

One of her favorite things was to take all of these little toys off the shelf and give them to someone. Donna is the recipient here.

This was the first time I got to meet my sister-in-law and niece. My brother, David, is in Iraq for the next year. I guess I'll be paying a little more attention to the news from over there then I would normally like. They live in New York, but are here for the next couple months staying with Jessica's parents for the holidays. I'll get to see them a few more times before they head home.
