The beauty of henna is that it is temporary and painless to apply. This means I never have to decide on designs that will be with me forever. Only a few weeks. Isn't this lovely! On Sunday afternoon I found a friend of mine, Lena, sitting in the window display at the Metro Clothing Co. She was there to do henna for anyone interested. Well, I've been interested in henna tattoos for quite awhile, but never actually had one. Combine this with a great opportunity to sit and chat with a friend I haven't seen in ages, and I just couldn't lose. She's also a fabulous artist. She says she only started doing henna about 3 weeks ago. I believe that she's been an artist her whole life and this is just a new medium. You can see Lena's website.
