| Concrete Blonde's new album, Group Therapy, came out today and my partner, Michael had to go out and get it after work. I am grateful.
It's marvelous, and we've just listened to it twice through. There is a song called 'Take Me Home' that I just adore. They played it at the concert we went to on Nov. 8th, and I had this song stuck in my head for a week afterwards. I love it.
A very close second would be 'Angel'.
Of course every song just gets me right in the gut, and the heart, and the head.
I listen to Johnette, and I am just 'done'. It's simply bliss. So much emotion is conveyed in her voice that I don't know whether to dance or swoon sometimes. Cry or laugh.
I guess the urge is to dance and cry and smile and then swoon at the end when I can't stand anymore.
I adore the music they create.
