Metro
My New Metro
My previous car was also a Metro and it was a wonderful car that was with me for almost 7 years and over 100,000 miles. Those close to me already know that I was in a terrible car accident Sept. 2000. which totally distroyed that car and yet Michael (who was my passenger at the time) and myself walked away from it. In fact we insisted on being taken to the airport to catch our flight to San Jose.
I wish I had a pictures of the car after I totalled it. The memory still gets me. There were all these great people who stopped to help us. Checking to make sure we were alive and all. The lady who had been right behind me in traffic said that because of the way my car looked she was afraid we were dead. At this prompting I turned to look at the state of my car, and in a moment had crumpled to sit on the ground with my head in my hands. I had killed the car and I had no better idea than this woman did of how we had come out of it with only scratches and bruises.
It was a wonderful little car. That's why I went right out and bought another one.
