Mike and I went up to La Conner to visit his mom, Judy, and we all went for a drive up into the hills. It was steep and bumpy, but worth it. The view was incredible when we got up there. I took dozens of pictures of the endless gravel road, it was pretty amazing, but I've only put a couple up here. |

We went up to this spot where hang gliders jump from. |

Then we found a (1/3 mile) trail up to a lake. Also quite beautiful. The last picture, just below is a dragonfly. I've never seen one so big and colorful. Not much size reference in the picture, but I think it was at least four inches long. |
