Trip to Portland, OR
Back in February there was a day trip to Portland. Michael needed to get there for a weekend of Tango classes he'd signed up for, and I decided to drive him down. But I wasn't staying becuase I hadn't taken any tango classes yet. Mike came along to keep me company for the day, and on the drive back. |

So, of course we went to Powell's. Wandered around in there for a couple hours. Laughed ourselves silly over the "Bad Cat" book. Then I took these pictures across the street, under a very odd sculpture. |

We had some lunch, and then drove up a hill to a rose garden. Since it was February, the garden was all thorns. I was amused, and mostly wanted to get out of the car and stretch my legs for a bit. And before heading home, we saw this lovely sunset. |
