Our 7th Annual All Saint's Day Celebration

1998: At first the only tradition was the remembrance book. Attendees were asked to write a remembrance for the book during the party.

In 2001, I became a co-host of these parties and started taking pictures of attendees, as a celebration of the living.

2003: There was no party last year, but we tried to continue the tradition in another way. We started a private website for past attendees.

2004: This year we decided to add a remembrance alter for our dearly departed. It's very much inspired by the Mexican tradition, but ours was quite different. (See the end of Part II for a description of ours.) Also, I organized all of the remembrances from past years into a binder. (See above)
