WPZoo, Spring Trip
The down side of this trip to the zoo: 1,000 parents decided this would be a lovely day to bring there children, ages 0 - 8, to the zoo. (Why is it that people pushing strollers don't watch where they are going?)
The up side: it was a lovely day, we got to see some beautiful annimals, and we had a mostly nice walk.

Gorilla picture for Michael. |
I don't think I've seen the lemurs out before. |
Guenon monkey. He looks like a little old man. |

I don't turn into a babbling idiot at the site of babies or puppies or most anything, except cats, of all sizes. The tiger babies at the zoo are almost as big as their momma now, but if you watch them long enough you can tell them apart. These two shots are postcard perfect. |

Just like house-kitties they have toys to chew on and bat around. |
Unfortunately the toy that goes into the pit is as unretreivable as one that goes under the refridgerator at home. |
"Bummer, let's go bug mom." |

Snow Leopards are a favorite of mine as well. I want to nuzzle all that beautiful thick fur.
And I think this is an interesting set of pictures. Through the glass vs. the fence. |
