Unexpected Surprise

Wow, I just got an email from a very friendly person:

"Snow,

I just wanted to compliment you on the Concrete Blonde content within your site; most excellent that the official CB site has a link to it! It was a great pleasure meeting you and Michael.

William"

My jaw dropped open, and then I told Michael and his eyes bugged out, and we had to go look. There it is, right in the middle of the main page is a link to my story about going to see Concrete Blonde in Stockton, CA last November.

Then of course I had to go and check my referrers, which is where I can see where folks have come from to find my site. And it turns out the fan website has linked to me too.

I currently show about 200 hits from the official website and 10 from the fan site. I'm in a bit of shock over this. It's very exciting, and completely out of the blue.

To whoever is resposible: Thanks! I'm honored.

Now that I've calmed down a bit, I realize that William who sent me the email above is someone I met in Stockton last year, and I believe he's in one of my pictures. Yep, there he is to the right of Johnette and Jim.
